The episode begins with Nidhi recalling aloud with Anjie how she'd told her she has no idea where the road will take her. Anjie tells her that this is a whirpool which she can't escape but she can beware of the 'dangers' i.e. Dr. Mallika. Just as Nidhi is about to leave, she remembers that Ashu's shoes are in her boot. She opens it and sees them there still and smiles and leaves.
She reaches the hospital and smiles again as she recollects the rainy night with Ashu. She starts walking towards the hospital and the moments when she and Ashu were making tea in his kitchen flashes across her mind side by side with Ashu asking her to come back.
She walks in and asks for Ashu. The receptionist tells her to wait since he isn't here yet. Nidhi goes walking (I've never seen her this happy!) but her smiles fades as Dr. Mallika comes in front of her looking visibly upset. She asks Nidhi what she's doing here. She says she's come to return Ashu's shoes. Mallika asks her to leave them in his room. She says she wants to meet him as well and wants to join the hospital as well. Mallika asks if Ashu is the reason. She says kind of. Mallika asks her to make up her mind about where she wants to be and there is no place for her irresponsibilities in the hospital. It's better if she doesn't come back. Nidhi says Ashu wants her to come back. Mallika tells her not to worry about him, she'll handle him. Nidhi looks disappointed. Just then, a nurse comes and informs Mallika about Ashu's accident. Both the women are shocked. Mallika rushes to the phone to get more information. Nidhi asks her what happened but she shrugs her off. Mallika informs Rangnath and he immediately gets ready to accompany her. He tells Nidhi not to worry and he'll call her when Mallika shrugs her yet again.
